Glenn & Marilyn Riess' 1972 Cutlass W-29
We purchased this '72 Cutlass W-29 car in 1998. It has its original 350 that we
rebuilt in '99. The car was repainted in 2000 by a friend in my garage to its
present color although it originally was Baroque Gold. It is a factory 4 barrel,
dual exhaust car that we drive very often. It was a real family project with my
kids and wife pitching in on the work that was performed.
Since it was built in Arlington TX, it spent most of its life down south and did
not rot out like northern cars do. It came north from Georgia in '93 for 5 years
before we purchased it. It runs great and actually gets better gas mileage than
my Dodge Dakota, so long as I stay out of the four barrel.
